First Annual Graduation Banquet Celebration C/O 2005.

On June 5. 2005, Saint Maurice Church held the first annual Graduation banquet for the class of 2005, at the Sheraton hotel. It was an amazing night that carried a lot of wonderful memories, from laughter to joyful tears. We would all love to thank Fr. Mina. And Fr. Isaac for their support and effort, and we would also love to thank all the underclassmen and servants, Mary, Johnny, Mira, and Karam, for their help.
Pope Shenouda III Blessed St Maurice Church Aug. 21,
2005
On Sunday August 21, Pope Shenouda III blessed St. Maurice Coptic Orthodox Church, and prayed the Thanksgiving Prayer. Afterwards, His Holiness congratulated the church and spoke briefly about the life of mission, with the examples of St. Maurice. Hundreds of members of the congregation welcomed His Holiness with joyful hymns.
On September 28-30, 2005, Senior Citizens went to the St Maurice, and St. Verena village at big bear with Fr. Mina, and Fr. Issac for a spiritual retreat with the blessing of H.B. Serapion, who held the liturgy for them at big bear.
St Maurice Church celebrated St Maurice’s Feast on the 4th of October, with the blessing of his Grace Bishop Serapion.
"All saints day" Halloween festival Oct 31, 2005 (Pictures)
On Oct. 31, 2005 Saint Maurice church held the "All saints day" Halloween festival from 6:00-9:00 PM. The church provided a lot of candy, cotton candy, popcorn, games and rented jumpers for the kids to have fun. Towards the end of the night Fr. Mina and Fr. Isaac distributed candy to the little kids and ended the night with a small prayer. Thanks to all the servants who put time and effort to make this a wonderful night for the kids and adults to enjoy.
